Paul R. Jakubowski - Has been studying Tien Shan Pai Kung Fu for the past 13 years, first, under the direction of Diane Kogelschatz-Spoor (widow and student of the school founder, Carl Kogelschatz) and since 1999, under Grandmaster Huang, Chien-Liang.
- 65th Generation student of Tien Shan Pai under Grandmaster Huang.
- Actively involved in the U.S. Kuo Shu Federation having assisted in the annual U.S. Chinese Kuo Shu International Championship Tournament in a variety of capacities since 1997, ranging from assisting in the competition rings to Ring Coordinator, Prep Area Coordinator, Floor Coordinator, and Head of Security.
- As a member of the U.S. Kuo Shu Federation, the World Kuo Shu Federation, and the International Tien Shan Pai Association, meets and trains with members from other U.S. and international schools.
- Was awarded his 1st Degree Black Sash by Shi-Fu Diane Kogelshatz in December of 1999.
- Began teaching at U.S. Martial Arts Academy in 1999 as an Assistant Instructor.
- Became Senior Instructor in 2004.
- Was awarded his 2nd Degree Black Sash in Tien Shan Pai by Grandmaster Huang in January of 2005.
- Assumed ownership of U.S. Martial Arts Academy, Ltd. with his wife, January 1st of 2008.
- Was awarded his 3rd Degree Black Sash from Grandmaster Huang in September of 2008.
- Became a Disciple of Grandmaster Huang in December of 2008.
