On Saturday, April 21, 2012, U.S. Martial Arts Academy, Ltd. will host Grandmaster Huang’s 2012 Tien Shan Pai Legacy Tournament here, at our school. All Saturday classes will be cancelled as we will already have the space set up for the tournament.
This is a tournament for the local Tien Shan Pai schools affiliated with Grandmaster Huang and invited guest schools. The competitors range from Kung Fu Kids (starting at age 4 years old) through adults. Events include the external empty hand and weapons forms for both single and two person teams and the internal arts of Tai Chi, Xing-Yi, and Ba Qua, including the Pushing Hands competition.
The tournament begins at 12:00pm At the door registration begins at 11:00am. Volunteer training is at 9:30am.
The pre-registration cost is $35 ($30 for Kung Fu Kids). Pre-registration ends on April 19, 2012. Those wishing to register after this date must register at the door on April 21st. At the door registration (the morning of the tournament) cost is $45 ($40 for Kung Fu Kids).
Registration includes the entry fee for one event. Each additional event is $5.
