Self-Defense Kung Fu – San Da Fighting Skills Program

We often get asked for a course for a course that teaches practical self-defense Kung Fu without belts, tests or forms.  Some people have said that they would like to learn how to better to protect themselves and get a strong workout without memorizing the sequences of moves which we call forms.  

Students in this course will NOT learn belt forms, take tests or receive belts.

They will be in the same classes as the Family course or the Kung Fu Adult course, but they will not be worked with individually to learn forms.  Once the San Da students have had sufficient practice with the various techniques, they will also practice sparring.

This course will run alongside our the Kung Fu and Adult Kung Fu classes.  Like our Kung Fu classes, this training improves focus, fitness, memory, balance and confidence.

In this course, students will learn the following:

*  All of the standard self-defense strikes, kicks, blocks and stances.

*  “Chin Na” joint locks or submission holds.

*  San Da fighting techniques such as slip, double block strike, front sweep, etc.

* Controlled sparring to practice offensive and defensive self-defense reactions.  Both partners  manage power, to avoid injury.

Note: This is NOT a kick boxing course!  This involves learning a wide variety of self-defense skills and techniques.
