The World Kuo Shu Federation is a non-profit organization to promote and develop traditional Kuo Shu, with its physical, mental and ethical benefits. In addition to fostering friendship, peace and harmony across the many countries with practitioners of Kuo Shu, the organization aims to increase public awareness of Chinese martial arts.
TWKSF has over 70 member groups from countries all over the world. The federation is governed by an executive committee composed of both elected and appointed members. TWKSF sponsors large, worldwide tournaments that have been held in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. The federation also trains and certifies judges and referees as well as provide a ranking system for Kuo Shu practitioners.
The United States Kuo Shu Federation (U.S.K.S.F.) is a rapidly growing nonprofit organization that promotes friendship, unity, physical fitness, harmony, ethics, and peace around the world through the principles of Chinese Kuoshu (also known as Kung-Fu). The U.S.K.S.F. consists of a board of directors representing martial arts organizations from across the U.S. Through this national network, the international standards for certification of judges, referees, and instructors are promulgated, and a new grading (ranking) system based on standards developed by The World Kuo Shu Federation; which is the first world organization to have adopted such a ranking system. Additionally, each successive national tournament held in the U.S. helps to raise the level of competition in preparation for the periodic world competitions as well as to expand the interest in Kuoshu across generations.
The Tien Shan Pai Association works to promote and preserve the Tien Shan Pai (天山派) style of Kung Fu. The 64th generation heir to the Tien Shan Pai system, Grandmaster Huang Chien-Liang (黃乾量) heads the The Tien Shan Pai Association, based in Baltimore, Maryland.
