Many thanks to all of the volunteers, competitors, and spectators who made Grandmaster Huang’s 2012 Tien Shan Pai Legacy Tournament such a success.
This annual event was held here at U.S. Martial Arts Academy, Ltd. on Saturday, April 21, 2012. We had 79 competitors from the local Tien Shan Pai schools (affiliated with Grandmaster Huang). Events included single and two person Kung Fu forms both empty hand and with weapons, light contact sparring, Tai Chi competitions both empty hand and with weapons, and Pushing Hands competitions.
Competitors who competed in this tournament got excellent practice, and hopefully, advice and ways to improve from the judges. This should be helpful for the much larger U.S. International Kuo Shu Championship Tournament held in Hunt Valley, Maryland in July.
