On Saturday, June 23rd, Stephen Irving completed his Black Sash requirements and tested to his first degree Black Sash. As part of his test, he demonstrated nine of ten Tien Shan Pai forms that are required of Black Sashes. He also performed a self-choreographed martial arts skit and gave a short speech on achieving his Black Sash. Various instructors and advanced students also performed.
