They performed nine of the ten Tien Shan Pai forms, choreographed and executed their martial arts skits, broke their boards, and gave a speech.
The food collected from the admission fee for the test will be delivered to the Maryland Food Bank.
U.S. Martial Arts Academy, Ltd. will be holding a Black Sash Test on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Nine students will be testing to their first degree Black Sash. The test will begin at 2:00pm and will last about 2 1/2 hours.
Come and support their efforts!
The cost of admission is two canned or dried goods items per person (staples, not in glass containers, please). If more convenient, a $2.00 cash donation per person will also be accepted. All food and funds collected will benefit the hungry in Maryland.
For the 20th year, U.S. Martial Arts Academy, Ltd. has participated in Villa Maria’s holiday gift program to give holiday presents to the children living at the Villa Maria – St. Vincent de Paul’s facilities.
Each child had a short wish list and generous donors bought new toys, clothing, electronics, art supplies, and sports equipment and/or gift cards to fulfill those wishes.
